Kao što je i najavio, Geoff Keighley je večeras otkrio nominacije za ovogodišnji The Game Awards 2023, koji će biti održan 7. prosinca (kod nas 8. prosinca u ranim jutarnjim satima), a tijekom kojeg nas, uz natjecateljski dio, očekuje i onaj revijalni, tijekom kojeg ćemo vidjeti veliki broj svjetskih premijera i ekskluziva.

Kada su u pitanju same nominacije, ove godine suvereno dominiraju Alan Wake II i Baldur’s Gate III. Ova dva hita imaju po osam nominacija, dok ih u stopu, sa jedom nominacijom manje prati Insomniacov Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Po pet nominacija su skupile igre Hi-fi Rush, Super Mario Bros. Wonder i The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, četiri nominacije imaju Final Fantasy XVI i Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, dok su Capcomovi hitovi Resident Evil 4 i Street Fighter 6 nominirani po tri puta. Naravno, najveće iznenađenje predstavlja izostanak Starfielda u kategoriji za najbolju igru 2023. godine.
